ANTIOXIDANTS, THE LIFE SAVERS

Antioxidants are molecules that help our bodies mop up free radicals and keeping us safe from their harmful effects on our health.
Some antioxidants are produced within our body cells while others have to be taken in from outside, through the mouth or veins.
Vitamin C and E are the commonest antioxidants that we need to include in our diets To Help us fight free radicals.

Glutathione and Uric acid are among the few produced by our body cells.
Glutathione is known as the master/mother antioxidant because in addition to being an antioxidant it recycles the other antioxidant.
Once the other antioxidants mop up free radicals they in turn become free radicals and proceed with the damage started by the free radicals and a vicious cycle ensues leading to oxidative stress and eventual death of the cells, then the tissue, the organ etc with these the individual becomes sick depending on where this is occurring.
But glutathione doesn't become a free radical after mopping up free radicals instead it returns the other antioxidants to their antioxidant state when they become free radicals after mopping up free radicals.
THE BAD NEWS AGAIN
From the age of 20 our glutathione levels begin to fall, to stay healthy at this point we need extra gluthatione....

STAY TUNED FOR THE GOOD NEWS
